The Wales Lake West Property includes 20 claims over 28,878 hectares near Highway 955, southwest of the Athabasca Basin and 23km from Fission Uranium’s Triple R deposit. It’s expected to have basement-hosted uranium mineralization similar to other properties in the Clearwater Domain.
A comprehensive airborne geophysical survey in July 2017 spanned 1,569 km across the property using advanced sensors like a VTEM Plus system and magnetic gradiometer, aimed at identifying key areas for future exploration.
The survey revealed over 258 km of conductive anomalies, indicating complex networks of conductors with enhanced conductivity, trend expansions, and cross-structural features, guiding the next steps in exploration.
The Wales Lake West Property comprises 20 claims covering 28,878 ha. The property is located just west of Highway 955, outside the south-west margin of the Athabasca Basin approximately 23km southwest of Fission Uranium’s flagship Triple R uranium deposit and occupies the same stratigraphic position within the Clearwater Domain. The model of mineralization expected on the Wales Lake West Property is analogous to basement-hosted uranium mineralization.
